Clementine Halsey - our little office pup extraordinaire - celebrated her third birthday here in the office yesterday! The staff gathered around to sing Happy Birthday as Clementine was presented with her very own doggie birthday "cake" in the shape of a bone.

Everyone took turns giving the pooch special loves and cuddles on her big day, and congratulated her on reaching legal drinking age (in dog years)… although we think it's best if she just sticks to water.

Happy birthday Clementine! To learn more about our four-legged friend - and the rest of the JeTT team - visit our team section!
Our client Rodello's Machine has been making waves with their stylish new website created by the design and development wizards here at JeTT Media Group.

Says Bandzoogle:

Even though you wouldn't mind spending hours looking for information on this site, their clear navigation bar makes it easy to find whatever you're looking for. Their web design is based on the branding of their latest album, which makes for a cohesive look for their marketing and promotion. Visually amazing, with lots of great content like videos, blog, and a good selection of promotional items in their Store. This is a great example of how much you can customize a Bandzoogle website to work with your latest promotional strategies."

This way you will be able to find an agency who understands your needs and limitations. JeTT's CEO Tracy Ryan has a few more pointers in the video below!
JeTT Media Group's founder and CEO, Tracy Ryan, was interviewed to discuss what you need to keep in mind when establishing your brand's communications. She explains that when developing your logo, website, e-blasts, business cards, and point-of-sale design items, it's crucial to make sure that everything is visually consistent and communicates the core message of your brand.

Being a Los Angeles website design company is a very competitive field, let alone the fact that you are not only competing locally but also on the broad scale of the Internet, against design companies out of every major city in the world.

Throughout the years of our experience handling major clients such as Brazilian Blowout, Condition Culture, and Megatrax, we’ve learned that there are several web design procedures that we tend to follow in order to keep a system consistent and to keep a client happy. Website design is much more than taking a client’s idea and bringing it to life. Design takes collaboration, keeping your personal touch, and utilizing all of the other sources of marketing that is necessary for a client to grow their business, especially if they are starting with a fresh new domain with absolutely no traffic.

These suggestions are for both upcoming website design companies and businesses who are seeking a successful design approach towards their website. They are guidelines that are recommended for a successful experience through the entire process when working with your chosen web design firm.

Keep It Simple

When developing a website, make sure to keep it as simple as possible. Have your friends and family try to navigate the basic design comp’s before the website is even launched. Remember, design is a collaborative effort to please the consumer, so test your site out with potential customers who will goto your website.

Research Your Competition

Find out what they are doing in your space. Understand what their strong points are and also find out about their weak points. How can you provide a service that will be much better for the consumer when they use your website? What new website design technology features do you want to provide that may make the user experience easier?

Consider Your Content

Know what you site is going to be about. Your functionality and your voice as well as your tone are crucial website design tips. If you live in Los Angeles, what about LA can you provide to your voice for you web design? What unique features or content can you provide that nobody else can?

Get Inspired

Make a list of websites you really love. Research a variety of sites even outside of your realm to learn about latest web trends and features. Search Google and YouTube for top website design companies and top websites of 2011. Other terms that may be helpful would be 'top future website design trends' or 'design ideas' should give you some great results.

Set a Budget

Websites can be pricey, depending on your vision and the amount of work that is needed to put into it. But it doesn't necessarily mean its the end of the road. A lot of web design companies are flexible and willing to work with you. Set your site into phases so that you have a variety of stages that will enable you to raise money that is needed as your company continues to grow. Top website design firms want to see you succeed and are typically flexible with their phases for you.

Follow these simple tips and you'll be on the right track. Here is a video of JeTT owner Tracy Ryan giving these tips along with a few others for companies.
